Dieting
Dr. Venuti is trained in nutrition and how diet affects your health and well-being. It's our belief that nutrition comprises more than simply eating three meals a day. We view nutrition as the materials needed to maintain your health, and includes the vitamins, mineral, and tissue building quality of what you eat. Some foods should be avoided, while others consumed more frequently. You should consult us directly for your specific nutrient requirements, but there is a general list to consider.
You should avoid:
- Smoking and Alcohol
- White refined sugar and candy
- Junk Food and empty calories
- Caffeine, found in coffee and cola drinks
- Salt and foods high in salt content
You should increase your intake of:
- Water
- Fruits and Vegetables
- Whole grain breads and cereal
- Lean cut red meats
- Fish and Poultry
- Skin Milk and low fat dairy products
Remember, your specific condition may require special dietary requirements, consult Restorative Health Center to learn more.

I know there is so much controversy between chiropractic and medical care, but if it were not for chiropractic I would still be in pain. A car accident left me with constant lower back pain. I tried everything from painkillers to preparing to have surgery. I heard stories from my friends who had surgery and to this day wish they never had it. So I decided to go to a chiropractor before the surgery and I am so thankful that I did. My back pains are gone and I am living my life to the fullest and pain free.
